County Pool
Any player that is interested in playing county pool might find the following information to their interest.
I have been approached to try and put a County side together for Dorset in the Blackball rules. These are not much different from World Rules but are a bit more attacking.
Basically in the first season (starting April) we would just stick a men's a and a men's b side in and then look to do trials in year two.
We would play out of Snookes in Weymouth and fixtures are only once per month.
Looking to get 20-12 players for this season, which would be an A and B Team plus a couple of reserves.
Matches once per month starting on April 22nd. They are played on Sunday from 1pm, we would be in a division with Bristol, Wiltshire, West Berks and North Somerset, plus possibly one more.
Play each team home and away.
For the first season I will be down as County Manager but looking to just get it off the ground this year with view to trials and proper structure next year.
Home matches will be played at Snookes in Weymouth, and both the A and B team play at the same venue on the same day making it quite a good atmosphere.
If you need anything more then please ask Ian Puncher on 07837208859 or Pete Williams on 07748604771 at cuesport tv ltd
